## Summary

Aging blood vessels may do more than raise heart risk, since this review argues they help drive wear and tear in distant organs too. The authors pulled together human and animal research into twelve hallmarks of vessel aging, from early vessel aging to people whose arteries stay unusually young. For anyone following senolytics (drugs that clear out worn-out cells), it also rounds up lifestyle and drug approaches aimed at old vessels. This is a summary of existing work, so it offers no new test of whether any of these strategies work.
