What is Longevity Los Angeles?

Longevity Los Angeles is a free, science-based community for people in Los Angeles who want to stay healthy for longer. It is the LA chapter of Longevity Cities and brings together people who are building, investing, training or just curious, for outdoor meetups, conversations and evenings that go deeper than small talk. No biohacking expertise needed.

Most meetups happen outside on the Westside. Past events included a Longevity Picnic at Crescent Bay Park in Santa Monica with Don't Die LA, an evening on deep connection in a lonely world at Flow Life Sanctuary in Venice, and The Art of Longevity Vol 1, a free, relaxed evening of conversation in English at Crescent Bay Park. Coming up in October 2026: a Morning Sunlight Walk at Beach Green, a Matcha & Walk in Santa Monica and a Griffith Observatory hike during Tech Week.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Los Angeles WhatsApp group linked on this page and pick a date from the calendar. Longevity Los Angeles is a community, not a longevity clinic or program provider. If you are comparing longevity programs in LA, this is where you learn what they involve and ask other members what they have tried.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Longevity Los Angeles?+
Longevity Los Angeles is the LA chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy aging. Members meet for picnics, beach and city walks, hikes and evening conversations, often together with local partner Don't Die LA. It is open to founders, investors, athletes and complete beginners, and nobody needs to be a biohacker.
Is there a longevity program in Los Angeles, and what does it cost?+
Yes, Los Angeles has many private longevity and biohacking programs, but Longevity Los Angeles is not one of them: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. In the US, clinic programs typically run from a few thousand to over 20,000 dollars a year, self-pay. Before joining one, ask for the full itemized price and which results would actually change what you do.
Where can I get biological age testing in Los Angeles?+
In Los Angeles you can order an epigenetic age test by mail (roughly 200 to 500 dollars), take out a biomarker blood-testing membership (roughly 350 to 500 dollars a year) or measure fitness markers such as VO2max and grip strength for free. Epigenetic results vary between labs, so read one as a snapshot. Our free online tools cover face age, VO2max and grip strength.
What longevity events are there in Los Angeles?+
Longevity Los Angeles hosts outdoor and evening events, many with Don't Die LA. Past: the Santa Monica picnic in July 2026 and The Art of Longevity Vol 1 in late September. Coming up in October 2026: the Morning Sunlight Walk on 16 October, plus the Matcha & Walk in Santa Monica and the Griffith Observatory hike, both on 17 October. All dates are in the calendar on this page.
Are there longevity hikes or outdoor meetups in Los Angeles?+
Yes, and most of Longevity Los Angeles happens outdoors. On 17 October 2026, during Tech Week, there is a morning hike to the Griffith Observatory with Don't Die LA, meeting in front of Franklin Cafe. Other formats: an 8:15 AM sunlight walk at Beach Green in Santa Monica on 16 October and a matcha walk the next afternoon. Bring water and sun protection.
Do I need to be a biohacker to join Longevity Los Angeles?+
No, Longevity Los Angeles is for anyone in LA who wants to feel and function well for longer, from complete beginners to people who track everything. Meetups are built for conversation: a picnic blanket, a shared walk, a topic like deep connection in a lonely world. Members swap what they try with an evidence filter, and nobody sells you a protocol.
How can I meet people in Los Angeles if I am new or just visiting?+
Longevity Los Angeles is a low-pressure way to meet people in LA, and visitors are explicitly welcome: the Morning Sunlight Walk is open to people who are building, investing or just visiting. Events like the Santa Monica picnic are free and everyone brings something healthy to share. Some evenings have limited spots, so RSVP early.
What is free at Longevity Los Angeles and what might I pay for?+
Longevity Los Angeles membership is free, and so are many meetups: The Art of Longevity Vol 1 at Crescent Bay Park was free with 60 spots, and the Santa Monica picnic was free too. You cover only what you buy yourself, such as a matcha at MUD\WTR in Santa Monica before the walk, or food and drinks. Each event listing states costs upfront.
How do I join the Los Angeles longevity community?+
Create a free account, join the Los Angeles WhatsApp group linked on this page and RSVP for a date in the calendar. The group is where meetup details and last-minute changes land, from Venice evenings at Flow Life Sanctuary to Santa Monica mornings. The Art of Longevity was hosted in English, and you can come alone.
